Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
You depart from Arusha in the morning and drive through the scenic highlands toward Serengeti National Park. The journey offers beautiful landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive across the endless savannah plains, where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti.
Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park. You begin with an early morning game drive when predators are most active, followed by breakfast and some relaxation time. Later, you continue with afternoon game viewing across different areas of the park. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Dinner and overnight are again in the Serengeti.
Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes as you head toward the crater rim. Upon arrival, you enjoy spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Dinner and overnight are at a lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. You enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending in the afternoon and returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, you drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari experience.
