ITINERARY

The 7 Days Tanzania Wildlife and Culture Safari combines breathtaking wildlife experiences with rich cultural encounters. This journey takes you through northern Tanzania’s famous parks—Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro—while also offering the chance to meet the local Maasai communities and explore traditional villages. Witness the Big Five, enjoy stunning landscapes, and immerse yourself in Tanzania’s vibrant culture. The safari starts and ends in Arusha.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha, you are transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the afternoon to rest or explore the town. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. You enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Dinner and overnight are at a lodge or camp near the park.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife, including flamingos. You enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s forest, plains, and lakeshore. Dinner and overnight are in Karatu or nearby.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive across the Serengeti plains, where you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti. Begin with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast and some rest. In the afternoon, continue game viewing in different areas of the park. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration. Dinner and overnight remain in Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, admire spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Optional visits to Maasai villages can be arranged for cultural immersion. Dinner and overnight are at a lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend and drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, concluding your safari adventure.
